Giorgio Giaroli brings over 30 years of Civil and Structural Design experience to the company. During the 1980’s, Giorgio worked with two of the world’s largest engineering companies for a period of ten years, then went to London to complete his Masters of Science (MSc) degree at Imperial College. Giorgio then worked in Italy for two years before returning to Brisbane to set up what is now BG Group Engineers.

As Managing Director of BG Group Engineers, Giorgio has presided over numerous successful developments including; high-rise residential towers in Brisbane, significant industrial and commercial developments for high profile clients and significant civil projects.

Giorgio’s proudest achievements throughout his time in the business are the longevity and depth of the client relationships the BG Group have formed, as well as the low staff turnover throughout the 20 years he’s been running his business.

As the founding Managing Director of BG Civil, Giuseppe Finocchiaro has a wealth of experience, spanning seven years at BG Civil, and an additional 13 years within the structural engineering field, allowing him a detailed understanding of the various channelling site constraints facing owners and developers, planners, architects and the like. As Managing Director, Giuseppe is across all stages of the project, including client relations, the initial tender process, schematic design and final documentation.

Since BG Civil inception in 2007, Giuseppe has been committed to providing clients with a professional and individually tailored engineering service, designed to maximize their project and result in the delivery of superior civil engineering design and documentation.  It is this commitment that has seen Giuseppe succeed in playing an integral part in the delivery of a variety of multi-million dollar projects on time and within budget.

After graduating with an honours degree in engineering from The University of Queensland in 1996, combined with a family background in the Civil Construction industry, David has developed both a comprehensive technical and practical knowledge base.

David has over 16 years of experience in the Civil and Structural Engineering industry. Having worked on a broad range of residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional projects throughout this period, he has the ability to deliver the most practical, economical and buildable engineering design for any project.

David’s dedication and loyalty is evident in the fact that his 16+ years of experience are from working for only two companies - much of this being at BG Group Engineers, with over 11 years of service.

Glen has been with BG Group since 2005 and is passionate about working closely with clients to help deliver creative and efficient outcomes. Having worked previously for major construction companies in the civil, mining and structural disciplines throughout Australia, United Kingdom, South America and Papua New Guinea, Glen has developed a broad range of experience in project management and structural design. His work history demonstrates an ability to add value and deliver successful results for clients in an ever changing environment across diverse boundaries.

Glen has a degree in Civil Engineering (BE Civil) and a Masters of Business Administration (MBS) majoring in Leadership and Entrepreneurship. Glen believes strongly in the attributes and qualities of the BG Group team and considers this to be a key element clients benefit from.

Scott has over 35 years experience in the design, documentation and construction supervision of hydraulic services. Scott believes in being actively involved in the design and documentation of each project to ensure all potential construction and coordination issues are resolved prior to authority approvals being sort, thereby providing our clients with trouble free authority approvals and construction.

Scott has been responsible for the design and documentation of a large and varied range of projects, from small unit developments to large commercial projects. During his involvement in these projects, Scott has developed close working relationships with clients, architects and other services engineers to ensure fully co-ordinated hydraulic services designs.
